| Amchit is a town looking onto the sea, located near Byblos, the cradle of civilizations. Thanks to its geographic location, all civilizations meet and mix. In its streets, alleys and squares, we discover History in all its aspects: old streets, houses surrounded by palm trees, and stairs carved in the stones. This atmosphere which is rich in History, the restful and verdant nature, and the dreaming seashore, have inspired many of its inhabitants who became renowned musicians, painters, sculptors and artists. I would like to welcome you to Amchit, on my behalf and on the behalf of the town council and Amchit’s inhabitants. |
